Knee Pain

Whether you have sustained an acute knee injury or have gradually developed knee pain over a period of time, you can be assured that Physiotherapists are experts in diagnosing and treating knee pain and injury.

Like most injuries the most important part of treatment is getting your knee injury correctly diagnosed.   At Kinver Physiotherapy Practice a comprehensive examination of the ligaments, meniscus, and tendons of the knee joint will be conducted. We use state of the art equipment to assess for any strength and mobility deficiencies.   This injury specific treatment will be followed by rehabilitation that will involve both manual therapy, acupuncture and specific exercise.

Some of the more common injuries seen are;

  • ACL tear/reconstruction
  • Patellofemoral mal-tracking
  • ITB friction syndrome
  • Fat-pad impingement
  • Medial ligament tears
  • Meniscal injuries
  • Cartilage injuries/surgery
  • Knee arthroscopy rehabilitation
  • Patellofemoral dislocations
If you would like to know how Kinver Physiotherapy can help you with your particular knee injury, just use the contact box on the right of this page and your query will be answered.
