Your first appointment

                                                                                                                  

At your fist appointment you will be asked to fill out a brief health questionnaire and read the Practice terms and conditions.  If you prefer you can down load a copy of this by following this link, and bring it along with you to the your first appointment.

Your initial appointment will usually last between 45-60 minutes.  During this time the Physiotherapist will talk to you to gain a full history of your injury/ pain, assess your injury and begin your treatment.  By the end of this session you will have a diagnosis for your problem and a treatment plan for getting you back to full health.

Following the initial assessment, further therapy and review sessions will last 30 minutes.  Longer sessions (45 minutes) are available to patients undergoing a course of acupuncture alongside another treatment. 

If you have a referral from your doctor or specialist, results from any scans, x-rays or other relevant investigations, please bring these along with you.

You are advised to wear comfortable clothing to your appointment and if your injury is sports related please bring along your trainers/sports shoes.

Your are welcome to be accompanied during treatments if you so wish.  Please be aware the patients under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.



A minimum of 24 hours notice of cancellation is required otherwise a charge is applied at full rate.

At Kinver Physiotherapy you will be offered  a range of appointments slots convenient to you without long waiting times.  Most patients will be offered an appointment slot within a few hours of contacting the practice.

Monday – Friday: 9:30am – 2.30pm and evenings by prior arrangement 
Saturday by appointment and prior arrangement
